Dear Beautiful Artist,

I see you. I see all the beautiful art you are putting into the world. I see how you constantly put yourself out there. It’s a brave act to boldly share the way you do. I see how you are growing—even if you don’t see it, always remember that you growing.

I’m proud of you. I’m proud of the way you keep showing up for yourself daily. It’s evident in your creations that you are meeting yourself every time you show up to the canvas. I’m proud of the way you have shown up for others—those in your community and beyond. I’m proud of you for setting goals and going after what your soul wants. Following your dreams is courageous and you deserve everything you have your eyes set on.

I’m inspired by you. Your art is unique. No one creates art the way you do and there is sacred space for you in this industry, even if you don’t see that yet. I am inspired by your tenacity and strength and the way you contribute to the world. You inspire me to be the best person I can be, just because you are vibrantly and unapologetically you.

I’m cheering for you. You are doing amazing things. You are making hard decisions. You are taking so many risks. And I am cheering you on. I don’t see you as my competition. I see you as a part of my community. I want you to achieve every goal, make all that $$$, live the life you are wildly deserving of. Again, this world is better because you have chosen to create and I’m rooting for you to succeed.

I’m thankful for you, dear one. I’m grateful for the freedom you embody as it gives me the courage to be free. I’m grateful for the colors you wear on your face as it gives me the audacity to try on some new colors. I’m grateful/thankful/blessed to be connected with you through the arts. Even if we don’t know each other, I am sure that we are soul siblings— co-creators that are committed to care for one another and the earth. And for that I am thankful.

It’s magical to witness your metamorphosis.

It’s delightful to watch you craft beauty from the ashes of which you rose out.

And it’s amazing to see all the goodness you put back into the world.

I want to empower you. I want to empower you to charge more money for your art. I want to encourage you to keep showing up for yourself and others. However, remember you can’t pour from an empty cup, so make sure you are filling your cup with nourishing water. I want to encourage you to take up more space. Break out of that box that the world wants you to be in and inhabit the space destined for you. You don’t need anyone’s permission to do anything. All you have to do is begin.

And my dear artist friend, you are wildly beautiful and creative just the way you are.

All my love,
